Our menu offers a choice of eight daily soups/stews/chowders (a.k.a. slurps) including our three signature soups: Doc in a Crock (chicken soup), chowder (usually clam, sometimes fish or seafood) and creamy tomato and five rotating specials. Your choice of bread is included with every 12 oz. or 16 oz. soup.
Our house salad, the Crock Salad, consists of mesclun and crispy romaine, grape tomatoes, English cucumber, purple cabbage, carrots and dikon radish. Dress your salad with fat free Italian, garden Italian, lite or regular ranch, or olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Alternatively, you may opt for a Caesar salad, romaine lettuce with a wedge of lemon, parmesan cheese, homemade croutons and Caesar dressing. The Greek consists of mesclun and crispy romaine, grape tomatoes, English cucumber, feta cheese, kalamata olives, pepperoncini and creamy Greek dressing. The Wedge is a wedge of iceberg lettuce accompanied by peppered bacon, crumbled blue cheese and blue cheese dressing.
End your meal sweetly by indulging in a freshly baked cookie: Birken-Cookie (nuts, dried cranberries and granola), Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin and Rush Hour (dark chocolate and espresso).
Wash it all down with one of our locally sourced beverages (a.k.a. sips): Hatchland Farms lite white and chocolate milks, Maine Root blueberry soda, Poland Spring still and sparkling waters and Squamscot sodas.
